accident and health insurance are different. Although major health insurance is required, our accident policy is optional. our voluntary accident insurance pays cash benefits when an emergency injury occurs.
Our accident policies pay benefits for dangerous activities such as skydiving, rock climbing, and skydiving. however, if the accident leaves you out of work for an extended period of time, we recommend our short-term disability insurance policy.4
We know that sports injuries like concussions are common and we take steps to help cover it. however, if your accident results in life-changing heart attacks or strokes, our critical illness insurance policy5 would be a better option. this route uses lump sum payments.
What about accidents while traveling? Our plan will help cover transportation costs, hospital fees, and other medical expenses incurred during travel accidents. will not pay benefits for bacterial, viral, microorganism infections or any condition resulting from insect bites or stings.
